Exterior Service Line Protection Plans Available to Residents
Homeowners may not be aware they are responsible for any repairs required for the water and sewer service lines buried on their property boundary.
The Township of Manitouwadge has partnered with Service Line Warranties of Canada (SLWC) to provide eligible homeowners access to affordable, optional protection plans for their external water and sewer service lines to help protect them against potentially expensive repairs to these lines.
Plans starting as low as $5.33+HST/ month
With SLWC service line repair plans:
Pay $0 for the covered repairs up to the benefit amount
Repair hotline is available 24/7, 365 days-a-year
Repairs are performed by a licensed & insured plumber
One year guarantee on all covered repairs
There is no obligation to sign up for a plan – participation in the program is voluntary. Prior to enrolling, homeowners are encouraged to check with their homeowner insurance provider to understand their coverage, deductible and exclusions on their water and sewer service lines.
