The Township is seeking community feedback on the future of the myRide accessible transportation service. MyRide provides an important mobility option for residents; your responses will help Council understand whether the community supports ongoing funding for this program if Santé Manitouwadge Health is unable to resume funding the service themselves.
This survey asks for your thoughts on the Township beginning to fund the service through the municipal tax levy should Santé Manitouwadge Health be unable to continue its financial support. The estimated annual cost of maintaining myRide is $100,000, which represents approximately a 2.5% increase to the municipal tax levy. Your input will help Council understand community priorities as they consider next steps.
